Bundle x Joy, Inc. (“Bundle x Joy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through this Privacy Statement (“Statement”). This Statement describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit our website at bundlexjoy.com, our subdomains and mobile-responsive properties, our digital storefronts (including our Amazon storefront), our quizzes, our subscription services, and any related online services that link to this Statement (collectively, the “Services”), and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This Statement applies to information we collect on the Services and through email, text, and other electronic messages between you and Bundle x Joy. It does not apply to information collected by any third party, including through any application or content (including advertising) that may link to or be accessible from the Services.

Please read this Statement carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, your choice is to not use our Services. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Statement.

1. Information We Collect

We collect several types of information from and about users of our Services, including information by which you may be personally identified (“personal information”), information about your pet, information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Services, and your usage details.

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you interact with our Services, including when you:

  • Create an account or take our pet profile quiz — such as your name, email address, phone number, postal address, password, dog’s name, breed, age, weight, activity level, dietary preferences, allergies, sensitivities, and health goals.
  • Place an order or subscribe — such as billing and shipping address, payment card information (processed by our payment processors), order history, gift recipient details, and delivery preferences.
  • Sign up for marketing or refer a friend — such as your email address, mobile number, communication preferences, and the contact information of any friend you choose to refer.
  • Contact us or request support — such as messages, photos, attachments, customer service correspondence, and call recordings where permitted by law.
  • Participate in surveys, sweepstakes, contests, or promotions — such as entries, responses, demographic details, and any user-generated content you submit.
  • Engage with our community — such as reviews, ratings, photos, social tags, testimonials, and other content you choose to share publicly.
  • Apply for or interact with our 3% giveback or partner programs — such as nominations, charitable preferences, and partner-specific details.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

As you navigate through and interact with our Services, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

  • Device and connection data — IP address, device type, browser type and version, operating system, mobile network information, device identifiers, and time-zone setting.
  • Usage data — pages and products viewed, traffic to and from the Services, clickstream behavior, search queries, items added to cart, time spent, referring URLs, and the date and time of access.
  • Location data — approximate location derived from your IP address, and (with your consent) precise location from your device.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 4 below for our use of cookies, pixels, SDKs, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies.

1.3 Information We Collect From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties, including:

  • Service providers and platforms — such as payment processors, fulfillment partners, e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon), customer service tools, and email/SMS marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo).
  • Analytics and advertising partners — such as Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok, and similar partners that help us measure performance and serve relevant ads.
  • Social media platforms — if you choose to log in, share, tag, or interact with us via a social network, we may receive information consistent with your privacy settings on that platform.
  • Co-marketing and referral partners — such as veterinarians, breeders, retail partners, charitable partners, and influencers who provide leads or referrals consistent with applicable law.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use information we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information, for the following purposes:

  • To present our Services and their contents to you, and personalize them based on your dog’s profile and your preferences.
  • To create and manage your account, process and fulfill orders, manage your subscription bundle, and provide customer service.
  • To process payments and prevent fraudulent transactions and other unlawful activity.
  • To communicate with you about your account, orders, shipments, deliveries, recurring subscriptions, and any changes to our products, Services, or terms.
  • To send you marketing emails, SMS messages, and push notifications about new products, promotions, recommendations, and content (where permitted by law and consistent with your choices).
  • To improve and develop our Services, products, formulations, and customer experience, including through research, analytics, and quality assurance.
  • To measure, attribute, and optimize our marketing and advertising, including across devices and channels.
  • To administer surveys, sweepstakes, contests, promotions, referral programs, and our 3% giveback initiative.
  • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Sale, Website Terms of Use, and other agreements, and protect our rights, property, and safety, and that of our customers and others.
  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information or with your consent.

3. How We Share Your Information

We may disclose personal information that we collect, or you provide as described in this Privacy Statement, to the following categories of recipients:

  • Affiliates and subsidiaries — entities under common ownership or control with Bundle x Joy.
  • Service providers — vendors, consultants, and other third parties who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, payment processing, fulfillment and shipping, analytics, marketing, customer service, fraud prevention, and IT support, who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
  • Advertising and analytics partners — to deliver relevant advertising on our Services and across the web, and to measure ad performance. See Section 4 for opt-out information.
  • Business transfers — in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company, or in any related due diligence.
  • Legal and safety — to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including responding to any government or regulatory request; to enforce or apply our Terms of Sale and other agreements; or if we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bundle x Joy, our customers, or others.
  • With your consent or at your direction — for example, when you choose to share content via social media or refer a friend.

We do not sell personal information in exchange for monetary consideration. However, like many companies, we use third-party advertising and analytics cookies that may constitute “sharing” or a “sale” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain U.S. state laws. Please see Section 7 for your rights and how to opt out.

4. Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies

We and our third-party partners use cookies, pixels, software development kits (SDKs), local storage, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies (collectively, “cookies”) on our Services. These technologies help us recognize you, remember your preferences, deliver targeted advertising, and analyze how our Services are used.

4.1 Categories of Cookies We Use

  • Strictly necessary — required for our Services to function (e.g., login, cart, checkout, security).
  • Functional — remember your choices and personalize your experience (e.g., language, saved bundle preferences).
  • Performance and analytics — help us understand how visitors interact with our Services so we can improve them.
  • Advertising and targeting — deliver and measure ads on our Services and on third-party platforms based on your interests.

4.2 Your Cookie Choices

You can manage cookies through our cookie preferences tool (available via the “Cookie Preferences” link in our website footer), through your browser settings, and through industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info), the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and Your Online Choices (youronlinechoices.eu) for users in the EEA and UK. On mobile, you may use your device-level advertising controls (e.g., “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS or “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android).

4.3 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers transmit a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no industry-wide standard for DNT, our Services do not currently respond to DNT signals. We do honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as required by applicable law. When we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we treat it as a request to opt out of the “sale” and “sharing” of personal information for the browser and device from which the signal is received.

5. Marketing Communications and Your Choices

We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. You can manage your communications preferences as follows:

  • Email — click the “unsubscribe” link in the footer of any marketing email, or contact us at support@bundlexjoy.com. Note that even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send you transactional messages related to your account, orders, and subscription.
  • SMS / text messages — reply STOP to any text message from us to opt out of further marketing texts. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Frequency varies. See our Text Messaging Terms of Use for additional information.
  • Push notifications — manage push notification preferences through your mobile device settings.
  • Account preferences — log in to your Bundle x Joy account to update your communication preferences at any time.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, including:

  • Right to know / access — request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business or commercial purposes for collecting or sharing it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to delete — request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to opt out — opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and opt out of certain profiling decisions.
  • Right to data portability — receive a copy of your personal information in a portable, readily usable format.
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — where applicable.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise these rights, you may submit a request through our online “Contact Us” form at bundlexjoy.com/pages/contact or by email to support@bundlexjoy.com. We will need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

7. State-Specific Privacy Disclosures

7.1 California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA”), provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. In the past 12 months, we have collected the categories of personal information described in Section 1, from the sources described in Section 1.3, for the business and commercial purposes described in Section 2, and have disclosed those categories to the recipients described in Section 3.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

To exercise your CCPA rights, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, please contact us using the methods in Section 6. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the CCPA.

Shine the Light: California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information regarding our disclosure of certain categories of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please contact us at support@bundlexjoy.com.

7.2 Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and Other State Residents

If you are a resident of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law, you may have rights similar to those described in Section 6, including the rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of your personal information, and certain profiling. To exercise your rights, please use the methods described in Section 6. If we deny your request, you may appeal our decision by replying to our denial communication or contacting us at support@bundlexjoy.com with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.”

7.3 Nevada Residents

Nevada residents have the right to opt out of the sale of certain types of personal information to third parties who intend to license or sell that personal information. We do not engage in such sales as defined under Nevada law, but to submit a verified request, please email support@bundlexjoy.com.

8. International Users and Data Transfers

Our Services are operated from the United States. If you are accessing our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. Data protection laws in these countries may differ from those in your country of residence.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we may have collected information from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, please contact us at support@bundlexjoy.com and we will take steps to delete that information. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable state laws.

10. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, tax, dispute resolution, or reporting requirements, to enforce our agreements, and to protect our and others’ rights. When we no longer need personal information, we will securely delete or anonymize it. Specific retention periods depend on the type of information and the purpose of processing.

11. Data Security

We have implemented administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. These measures include encryption in transit, restricted access controls, secure data centers, vendor due diligence, and ongoing monitoring.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Services. Any transmission is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Services.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, plug-ins, applications, and services not operated by us. Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control those third-party sites or services and are not responsible for their privacy statements. We encourage you to read the privacy statement of every website you visit and every service you use.

13. Accessibility

Bundle x Joy is committed to making our Services accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities. We strive to conform our digital experiences to Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

14. Changes to This Privacy Statement

We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the updated Statement on our Services with a revised “Last Updated” date. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (using the email associated with your account) or by posting a prominent notice on our Services prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to review this Statement periodically to stay informed about our information practices.
